Stop the ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya. The EU must act.

Ten year old children shot in the head, infants beaten to death with spades, a six month old baby thrown into a river and drowned, a baby grabbed from her mother and thrown into a pit of burning bodies. Parents forced to watch helpless as soldiers kill their children.

It is now six weeks since this crisis began and the European Union has done absolutely nothing to pressure Burma army head Min Aung Hlaing and his military to stop their campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Rohingya.

European Union Foreign Ministers are meeting on Monday 16th October. They must act to pressure Min Aung Hlaing to stop the ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya.

Tell them to act now to stop European companies selling equipment to the military and doing business with them. All European countries should stop training and co-operation with the military, and the EU must work to build support for a global arms embargo against the military in Burma.
